Jim Margraf joined the LaTour team in the summer of 2016. He has a passion for helping people and is an effective communicator. He has been teaching educational classes on retirement planning and Social Security to empower the baby boomer generation with the information they need to make the right decisions as they navigate into retirement. Jim’s motivation centers on the idea of helping clients make a smooth transition into retirement and provide a pathway through the financial confusion. With social security benefits making up the foundation of the average retiree’s income, Jim provides solutions that dovetail social security benefits with other retirement assets. This has the potential to reach the desired financial goals of his clients. As an Investment Advisor Representative, he serves in a fiduciary capacity and offers diverse options when developing a plan specifically tailored for each individual’s need.

Jim was born and raised in Pennsylvania. He now lives in Southwest Missouri area. Jim is married to Lisa and they have two sons. Jim is an avid cyclist; he also enjoys hiking adventures with his family.

Presently, Jim Margraf holds a Series 7 license in Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, & Texas.

Jim Margraf holds a State Series 63 and 65 licenses. He is an Investment Advisor Representative. Advisory services are offered by through LaTour Asset Management, LLC a Registered Investment Advisor in the States of Arkansas and Missouri. Being registered as a registered investment adviser does not imply a certain level of skill or training.

Jim also holds State Insurance licenses for Arkansas, Florida, Missouri, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee.
